1. Kem Sg Pauh

The most popular campsite in Cameron Highlands by a mile, Kem Sungai Pauh is usually the first choice that comes to mind when one plans a camping trip to Cameron Highlands. Situated in Kampung Taman Sedia, halfway between Tanah Rata and Brinchang, this scenic campsite is surrounded by tall pine trees and a gentle stream that’s great for a quick dip.
There are ample facilities like clean toilets, bathrooms, prayer rooms, barbecue pits and more to suit the needs of every camper. One gripe we had was that the parking area is rather far away from the campsite. Furthermore, you have to book in advance, sometimes weeks to months ahead, as the campsite is often full, especially during weekends and public holidays.
