Some great news for Japanophiles everywhere! Japan’s popular store Don Don Donki (Don Quijote) will be opening their first store in Malaysia!
The name ‘Don Don Donki’ is no stranger to those who frequent Japan often, as it offers many discounted products ranging from electronics, games, fashion to food. Don Don Donki has over 100 stores in Japan and they also opened their outlets in Thailand and Singapore. They’re so popular in fact, that they even have their own theme song!
The first Don Don Donki store in Malaysia will be opening at Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Bukit Bintang. There is also a Don Don Donki Malaysia Facebook Page, teasing a ‘coming soon!”, however there’s still no word of when exactly the opening date will be.
With COVID 19 still bearing down on international travel everywhere, you won’t have to purchase a flight ticket to Japan just to get your fill of Japanese snacks (at least for the time being), just head over to Lot 10 Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur when it’s finally open!
