Join a Lantern Making Class and add a touch of your own personal flair to an oriental ornament which is said to bring good fortune and happiness. These lanterns, characteristic of the ancient town of Hoi An, will take you back to the charming streets of the old city at a glance. An experienced English speaking instructor will be guiding you every step of the way. This fun and unique activity can be enjoyed by the entire family, even by kids as young as 3 years old!

How To Use The Voucher

You can present either a printed or mobile voucher for this activity
The voucher is only valid for the selected date & time

Class Programme & Start Times

Express Class
- Get a quick lesson on making your own lantern using pre-made lantern frames
- You can select your desired silk and stretch it to cover the pre-made lantern stakes
- Use glue to secure it in place
- Decorate with silk strips and tassel
- Finished! Your lantern can also be folded and stowed in your luggage to be brought home
Full Class
- You will learn the complete steps of making your own lantern
- Learn how to attach bamboo stakes together with wire thread, and shape them into a sunrise (inverted triangle) or sunset (triangle) formation
- You can select your desired silk and stretch it to cover the pre-made lantern stakes
- Use glue to secure it in place
- Decorate with silk strips and tassel
- Finished! Your lantern can also be folded and stowed in your luggage to be brought home
